Kia ora!
My name is Misaki, and I'm a Chi Nei Tsang abdominal massage practitioner and meditation sharer in Pukerua Bay, Wellington.

Chi Nei Tsang is a unique holistic therapy originating from traditional Taoist healing which predominantly focuses on the abdominal area. It means revitalising the life force that is in and flows to the internal organs.
Explore Chi Nei TsangWe listen to
your body
Our body sends us messages which might not always be addressed.
We listen to your body with our fingers.
We don't
judge
We don’t consider that any part of the body is bad or wrong – they are all part of who we are. We treat the person holistically.
The tummy is full of
life force
But its energy can be low for various reasons. We want to help your internal organs loosen up to revitalise your life force and allow it to flow freely.
Internal organs relate
to emotions
Our organs store emotions we may hide to live socially or protect us from being hurt. Chi Nei Tsang can help us digest unprocessed emotions and be ready to release them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I have a meal before a Chi Nei Tsang session?
I work directly around your tummy, so it is recommended that you do not eat for at least one hour before receiving Chi Nei Tsang. If you are very hungry and do not have enough time, I recommend that you have something light to eat.
What type of clothing should I wear?
I have a pair of loose-fitting trousers for you to change into, or if you would like to wear your own clothes, please wear loose-fitting clothing, with separate top and bottom so we can access your tummy.
How often should I receive Chi Nei Tsang?
You might feel a difference with one session but we usually recommend one session a week for five weeks, especially if you have never had Chi Nei Tsang before. In this way, you will be able to regularly monitor changes to your physical, mental and spiritual state.
Can I receive Chi Nei Tsang if I have any medical conditions?
Chi Nei Tsang has been practised for many years and its safety and effectiveness have been confirmed and validated. However, Chi Nei Tsang is not a substitute for a diagnosis of illness or a medical treatment.
If you have a critical illness, cancer, ovarian cysts, aortic aneurysms, or any other illness you are concerned about, please speak to your doctor and get their permission before you receive Chi Nei Tsang.
After a session, is there anything I should be careful about?
Some people may feel a difference on the day of the session; however, it usually takes a few days or a few sessions before you notice a difference. Please look out for any physical, mental or emotional changes for a few days following a treatment.
